Fixed the problems for Art/Krishnan/Ben and reverted
the undiscussed install tree change.
If an alternate installed location is to be used, install a shell
script which sets ASCENDTK before invoking ascend, don't just randomly
change the driver code to be something it's not
supposed to be.
