Fixes bug 447. Thanks for the report, jsp!
Some atom types for thermoelectric effect.
Grena algorithm now up and running, but needs careful testing and checking.
Adding initial bindings to sun position calculation, some debugging completed. Testing is next.

Started work on exposing model parameters to canvas GUI. Updated header/comment formatting in type_descio.h. Fixed some warnings in error.c. A bug still exists error_reporter_tree_start that is causing problems with the canvas-based GUI. Added Info class to canvas code, for output of debug information via GUI. Added a few missing types of gtksourceview langdef.
Example exergy calculation. Added delta_entropy to atoms.a4l. Cleaning up some library dependencies issues in build script. Increased default block size to 64×64 in canvas-based modeller.
Added 'kinematic_viscosity' to atoms.a4l.
Corrected lib dependency in Debian (libtktable2.9 instead of libtktable). Added some ATOM types for heat exchanger analysis. Identified a bug in package_load for case where DLL is in the current directory (still needs fixing).
Added 'power_per_area' and 'R_value' to atom definitions. Corrected some errors in the column buckling and section calculators.
Added some units of measurement to help with the 'markets' problem. Converted the 'markets' problem to unitful values.
Some work on adding 'listing' support in the ASCEND manual.
Added test for write('graph'). Added couple of items to syntax definition. Updated GPL notice in some core model files.
Added 'energy_per_volume' and 'power_per_volume' to atoms.a4l. Converting dsg.a4c into a dynamic (IVP) model. Removed some debug output from various places. Renamed some functions in lsode.c (removed references to 'blsode' name) Added comments in LSODE about what method is being used. Improved LSODE error output a little bit (why bother tho eh) Improved coupla error msgs in slv_stdcalls.c.
Added 'python models' to installer script Added 'delta_area'.
Adding polar moment of inertia to atoms.a4l. Fixing two small windows-related bugs in new importhandler stuff.
Added 'pile.a4c', a model for laterally loaded piles (in progress)
Added simple Lotka-Volterra population model. Needs validation still. Added 'rate' to atoms.a4l. Fixed 'pendulum' into a single-order version (needs checking). Removed debug output from relation_util.c.
Bumped version to 0.9.5.98. Added support for 'setSymbolValue' from C++ interface, and allow symbol variables to be edited via the PyGTK GUI. Added some limited data about structural analysis of beams in johnpye/aiscbeams.a4c. Updated johnpye/beam4.a4c to use this data. Added some currency conversions to measure.a4l. Added some units related to Mechanics of Solids to atoms.a4l.
Added 'deflection' to atoms.a4l. Updated beam models to use 'abs' instead of full conditional modelling.
Added youngs_modulus and second_moment_of_area to atoms.a4l. Added GPa to measures.
Added a sun position and extraterrestrial radiation model using the equations from Duffie and Beckman. When combined with the new data reader, this will start to be useful for 'real' solar energy problems.
Changed 'hr' to 'h' and 'dy' to 'd' in accordance with SI units.
First work towards reinstating the CONOPT solver. So far, I've got it building and linking without errors, but haven't tested the resulting runtime.
Removed some debug output from 'extcall'.
Merged changes from DAE branch (revisions 702 to 819) back into trunk. This adds the Integration API to the ASCEND solver (in base/generic). Also provides pre-alpha support for 'IDA' from the SUNDIALS suite, a DAE solver. Many other minor code clean-ups, including adoption of new 'ASC_NEW' and friends (to replace 'ascmalloc') Added some very sketchy stuff providing 'DIFF(...)' syntax, although it is anticipated that this will be removed.
commit changes to simpleFS files
Added sensible nominal value for delta_temperature, 5 {K}. Condenser saturated model works better now
Changed 'heat_capacity' to 'molar_heat_capacity'
LMTD condenser is working
Standardising all currency amounts to ISO 4217. USdollar and dollar replaced by USD in all models in the library.
